This year I have so so much to be thankful for. A guy who loves me to the ends of the earth and back, beautiful, healthy children, a nice roof over my family's heads etc. Here are a few little extras I'm thanking the stars for lately:
1. Awesome deals on our holiday cards and birth announcements. I spent a total of $2 on our Christmas cards and $47 on our birth announcements. I need to just say how much I LOVE Minted. Aren't our announcements darling??
Check 'em out and if you sign up using this link: SIGN UP HERE you'll save $25 off your first order! Plus, I think if you use the code SURVEY2012 you'll save an additional 10%!
2. Crafty people. I love em. I love em because I do not have ONE creative bone in my body, but thanks to pinterest I feel like I'm Martha effin' Stewart! Tonight I'm attempting the glitter deer canvas you've probably seen here.
3. Keeping with the crafting theme, I'm thankful for Michael's. They have anything you could ever need and you can usually find some steep discounts!
4. My Brest Friend. I've nursed using pillows and I've nursed using a Boppy, but My Brest Friend (see what they did there?! ha!) takes the cake on nursing pillows. If you've never breastfed you won't understand, but it makes ALL the difference. No stiff neck, sore arms or tired back. Miracle worker, I tell ya. Get yourself one.
5. Firmoo. Do you know how much I paid for Rx eyeglasses on another website? About $300. Wanna know how much I paid for Rx sunglasses on Firmoo?? $7.95. They were free, I only paid shipping. Shout out to Helene for posting about Firmoo. Everytime I put them on I whisper "7.95" to myself. Unbelievable!
Well I'm off to pretend I'm Miss Suzy Homemaker. I've got some ideas for some DIY holiday craftage (not a word, don't care) so maybe tomorrow I'll showcase my skills. Or maybe not....
What are you guys thankful for??

Random Wednesday
Linking up again with the lovely Shanna for a random Wednesday! Shanna, Wednesdays are my favorite blogging day of the week thanks to your linkup!
1. Usually by this time of year my Christmas decorations have been up for at least a week. This year my enthusiasm about it is pretty low. I guess I'm not that far behind, it's not December yet! We did buy my 5 year old his own tree for his room which he's pretty proud of!
2. I know it's super mushy and gushy, but seeing Steve with our little boy makes me fall more in love with him every single day. He has two boys already who he raised on his own (they're older than I am, ha!) so I knew he was a good dad, but watching the way he interacts with our little boy sure is a heart melter.
3. Speaking of our little bug, he's one week old today! Can we slow this whole growing thing down a little please??!!
4. How am I just now hearing about this whole Elf on the Shelf business??!! What a cute idea. Just ordered my copy from B&N and I can't wait to start hiding the little guy around the house!
5. I'm having some major F21/Target withdrawals. I really need to stop looking like I'm 4 months pregnant so I can do some serious damage!
Don't let his expression fool you, he's overwhelmed with joy haha

Isaac Strong
I'm joining up with Erin over at Living in Yellow to help spread the word about this precious angel, Isaac. I don't think anything I could possibly say would do Erin's words justice, but I will ask that you take 5 seconds and donate. If all of us across blogland gave just $5 that would help Isaac's family out so so much!
Please take a minute to read about his story here: Isaac's story.

Hello World!
Our guy is here! Meet Jackson Thomas Goodrich, our beautiful, cuddly sweetie pie. He was born at 7:54 a.m. Wed morning, 8 lb 15 oz (exact same as his older brother) and 20.5" long. We're all over the moon excited about little brother. Days and nights have been spent taking thousands of pictures, staring at our mini man and catching cat naps whenever possible. As for worrying about adding an addition to the family, completely unfounded. He blends in seamlessly with our kooky little clan. We couldn't love him more!
Warning:
Pic heavy (obvi) and a sliver of a nipple (For some reason breastfeeding pics are the only ones Steve thought to take of me and Jackson. Go figure.)Weekly Wishes 4

Big brother
Big brother is so proud and protective of our little bug. Just two days with our guy and they're already two peas in a pod. Best friends those two will be! Hopefully we'll be heading home later today for some cuddles by the fireplace and breakfasts in bed. Hospitals are no fun!

Random Wednesday
As you're reading this, I will be in the hospital having a human being ripped from my body. Alright, so they might not "rip" him out....don't want to scare any of you not yet mommies into thinking this is the procedure for giving birth. Moving right along...
I'm linking up with the beautiful Shanna again for "Random Wednesdays" It's nice to have a special reserved post for all those little tidbits that come up throughout the week, isn't it?
First up, I won a giveaway. I LOVE giveaways. I think I may like the act of entering and participating in said giveaways more than I like winning the item being given away. Ok, that's a lie. A while ago I had entered to win a camera strap on Classic & Bubbly and I won! Lori, the awesomely talented woman behind the handmade camera straps contacted me, had me choose my color and sent it right out!

How freakin' adorable is this?! I can't even take it!
Please, please check out her shop! So adorable, and so reasonably priced. SeeLoriSew
Also, about a month ago, I received my free beauty bag from Target. See a pattern here? Giveaways, samples, coupons, I can't resist. It's a disease. Nothing too special, the bag is cute and the samples are alright. If anything good for small trips, maybe.
Love the little leopard bag!
This week I'll be prepping my good old Macbook to use with this:
If you know anything about Macs you'll know that operating on OS X 10.5.8 means I am VERY behind on the times haha so hopefully I'll be able to get this all squared away by Friday at the latest.
This little guy is already the proudest big brother. Little brother's gettin' lots of love already!
The past weekend was spent getting ready for our little bug. We put the finishing touches on the nursery, cleaned every room in the house, dusted, mopped and shampooed the carpets. Let's pray for a speedy recovery, this mama needs it!

Trimming Trees
Today is our last day as a family of three. Tomorrow bright and early we'll be welcoming a new little man into our brood. I'm caught between feeling a sense of panic and a feeling of calm. Curious as to how introducing a new little person into our lives will go. Will I miss Liam being the only child? Can I possibly love both of them equally and wholeheartedly? Scary things to think about people! Last night was spent decorating the tree. It was so perfect, a quietness to the evening, all of us sincerely enjoying each others company. So here's to the last night of a home without a squirmy, fussy baby. We're all so excited to meet you!

Thankful Thursday
Gosh, I can't believe how time is flying by this year. Yesterday was Halloween and it feels like tomorrow is Christmas. Crazy! Here's what I give thanks for this week:
My fireplace. Our weather here in Arizona has been all over the place. At the beginning of the week the lows dipped into the 30's at night. You better believe we not only had a nice fire goin, but I turned on the heat for the first time. Now, not so much...no fire and I've got the ceiling fans goin all night.
Boy Meets World. Since I'm home all day by myself I watch a lot of TV. One of my favorites has always been this show. I actually cried during the last episode I watched. It sounds corny but some of the messages are so dead on! Wouldn't the world be a better place if every school had a teacher/principal/neighbor/whatever like Mr. Feeney??
My so worn in, so comfy Moccasins!
It's no secret I love my Minnetonkas. I've had 3 pairs in the past 4 years. They really do last that long. My only advice is order down at least a 1/2 size. I'm normally a 7 so I ordered a 6.5 and they are still a little big. They stretch a bit too when they're worn in. So cozy!
Belly Butter. Up until a few weeks ago I used Burt's Bee's Mama Bee Belly Butter. I didn't really like the smell of it but it made my skin so smooth. Unfortunately, Walgreen's is an asshole and stopped carrying it so now I just use my Body Shop Body Butter. Smells good and works wonderfully on my dry, itchy, extremely stretched out tummy.
Clorox wipes. Do I really need to go into detail on this one?
Bath & Body Works Wallflowers. Between having a grown man, a 5 year old who thinks farting is the funniest thing on earth, and a litterbox, these are lifesavers. I think they work better when they're put in a small space, but they have the cutest ones out for winter, like this one here.
So what are you thankful for?
Celebrity Crushes
Celebrity Crushes. We've all got 'em. I've got a few I'm pretty passionate about, I mean I don't keep a picture under my pillow and rub it as I fall asleep at night or anything but I don't think I could be trusted in a room alone with one of them (Sorry babe). I'm sure everyone is aware Channing Tatum won sexiest male of the year, and I won't deny he's a beautiful man, but that's not really my thing. Your Brad Pitt is my John Goodman. My thing is more along the lines of these fine fellas:
Woody Harrelson. This crush started back in '94 when he was in a little movie called The Cowboy Way. My 8 year old heart was smitten. He seems so attainable and down to earth. A cute little goofball, witty and clever yet a little ditzy. There's just something about him I can't get enough of!
Jeff Bridges. The Dude. I'm a sucker for an older man (obvs, my hub is 19 years older). I think his main appeal for me is his voice. Something about it comforts me. No, I'm not on meds, yes I need to be. He's the kind of man you could sit and sip whiskey in some shitty hole in the wall bar and never be bored. Hey Jeff, if your marriage doesn't work out gimme a call.
Daniel Day Lewis. But only when he's in character. Daniel Plainview is by far one of my favorite movie characters followed by his performance in Gangs of New York. He can yell at me about drinking my milkshake any day of the week.

Timothy Olyphant. Loved him in Catch & Release, Hitman and The Crazies, but what really got me goin' for this guy was Deadwood. Something about a man back in the 1800's is really attractive to me apparently haha. (I think Abraham Lincoln was the sexiest president if that gives you an idea of what type of guys I really like. Not kidding.)
Stephen Colbert. He's smart, he's funny, he's handsome and he's pretty clever. He's also a major major goofball. Can you tell I have a think for dorky old men yet??
